32-Year-Old Alicia Cruz Injured In Pompano Beach, FL Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, February 2nd at approximately 2 a.m. in Pompano Beach Florida. 32-year-old Alicia Cruz was seriously injured in a high-speed crash on W. Atlantic Blvd. Cruz was a passenger in a speeding Lexus Sedan driven by 21-year-old Lesly Maza, that lost control, striking two street signs and a tree. Cruz was rushed to  Broward Health North Medical Center for treatment. Another passenger in the Lexus was taken to the same facility, where she sadly later died. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families.
