31-Year-Old Omar Garcia Injured In Cobb, GA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occured on Friday, June 18, at around 3:30 AM in Cobb, Georgia. 31-year-old Omar Garcia was seriously injured when he was struck by his disabled vehicle after a semi truck collided with it on Interstate 75. Garcia was involved in a crash near the Barrett Parkway Overpass when he exited his truck and stood on the shoulder of the highway. It was then that the Freightliner, towing a semi trailer, struck the disabled truck causing it to hit the victim. Garcia was rushed to Kennestone Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the victim
