31-Year-Old Fatally Struck by Red-Light Runner in Lakeside

A tragic accident occurred early May 18 in Lakeside, California, when 31-year-old Jordan Michael Norman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver. Around 1:10 a.m., Norman was riding northbound with a green light when a 1998 Mitsubishi SUV ran a red light, turning left into his path. Norman died from blunt force injuries. The driver fled on foot. The California Highway Patrol is investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
