31-Year-Old Jawana Washington Injured In Lubbock, TX Accident

Wrong way collision along Parkway Drive

Tragic accident that occurred on May 16 in Lubbock, Texas. 31-year-old Jawana Washington was injured when a wrong-way driver crashed into their SUV along Parkway Drive. Lubbock Police Department officers responded to reports of a vehicle traveling east in the westbound lanes. The vehicle Washington was a passenger in collided with the wrong-way driver, 29-year-old Jimmy Lopez. Washington was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
