31-Year-Old David Madden Jr. Injured In Colonie, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on January 24th in Colonie, New York. 31-year-old David Madden Jr. suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a motor vehicle on Route 5 in front of the Dollar General store at 1935 Central Avenue. He was attempting to cross Route 5 when the vehicle hit him. Madden was transported unconscious with major trauma to Albany Medical Center. The vehicle operator was identified as Anthony Austria who stopped at the scene and immediately called 911 to report the incident. It is not clear if Colonie Police will charge Austria.
