31-Year-Old Carina Lopez Killed In The Bronx, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on September 28, at around 9:40 PM in The Bronx, New York. 31-year-old Carina Lopez was tragically killed after she was struck by the driver of a Dodge Ram Pick up on Bronx River Avenue at E. 174th St. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 42-year-old Robert Johnson. Lopez lived only a few blocks from the scene. She was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital where she was tragically pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation and Johnson has been charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
