30-Year-Old Gerardo Estrada Killed in Highland Park, CA Accident

Struck on North Figueroa Street near Woodside Drive

A tragic accident occurred on September 19 in Highland Park, California, when 30-year-old Gerardo “Jerry” Estrada was struck and killed by a Los Angeles Police Department patrol vehicle. Around 7:30 p.m., officers were pursuing a parolee at large when Estrada was hit near Woodside Drive and North Figueroa Street. He died from blunt force injuries, authorities said. Police are investigating the fatal crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
