30-Year-Old Calton Gage Davis Injured in Upton County, TX Accident

Collision reported on State Highway 349

A tragic accident occurred on December 31 in Upton County, Texas, when 30-year-old Calton Gage Davis of San Angelo was seriously injured in a head-on collision on State Highway 349 near mile marker 372 around 10:10 a.m. Authorities said a southbound Nissan crossed into oncoming traffic, striking Davis’s northbound Ford F-250. The Nissan driver, a 21-year-old woman from Arkansas, died at the scene. Davis was airlifted to Odessa Medical Center. The crash remains under investigation.
