A tragic accident occurred on July 4 in Houston, Texas, when a 67-year-old man was struck and killed by a suspected impaired driver. The crash happened around 10 p.m. in the 100 block of North Chartres Street. The driver, Shantel Thomas, 29, was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence.
