29-Year-Old Jorge Estrada Martinez Killed in Sunnyside, WA Accident

Pedestrian struck on Interstate 82

A tragic accident occurred on September 3 in Sunnyside, Washington, when 29-year-old Jorge G. Estrada Martinez was killed in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 82. Around 10:25 p.m., Martinez was walking on the eastbound shoulder near exit 69 when he was struck by a vehicle. He died at the scene. Authorities said impairment is suspected, and charges against the driver are pending. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
