29-Year-Old Jerry Crump Injured In Burke, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on July 22 in Burke, North Carolina. 29-year-old Jerry Crump was hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle.  Crump was flown to a Charlotte-area hospital with serious injuries. The motorist failed to stop at the scene. Officials later arrested the woman and charged her with felony hit-and-run and failure to reduce speed. An investigation into the accident remains underway.
