Comedian struck while walking home

A tragic accident occurred on August 23 in Dallas, Texas, when 29-year-old comedian Henry Jose Cruz was killed in a hit-and-run incident. According to police, Cruz was walking home from a comedy show near Elm Street and the Interstate 345 ramp around 2:15 a.m. when a speeding vehicle swerved, jumped the curb, and struck him. The driver fled the scene, and Cruz was rushed to a hospital, where he passed away. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
