A tragic accident occurred on July 20 in Sylmar, California, when Carlos Posada, 29, was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash. The incident happened around 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of Polk Street and DeGarmo Avenue. The driver fled the scene after hitting Posada, who died at the location.
