28-Year-Old Manuel Diaz-Chi Arrested After San Francisco, CA Accident

Fatal pedestrian crash near 10th and Folsom Street

A tragic accident occurred on May 27 in San Francisco, California, when 28-year-old Manuel Diaz-Chi struck a woman while driving a Mazda van near 10th and Folsom Street around 5 a.m. The victim was dragged for a city block and later died at a hospital. Diaz-Chi was found to have a blood-alcohol level above .15% and was arrested on multiple charges, including vehicular manslaughter. The investigation is ongoing.
