28-Year-Old Hessen Llano Gicole Killed in Amarillo, TX Accident

Struck near Interstate 40 service road

A tragic accident occurred on December 26 near Amarillo, Texas, when 28-year-old Hessen Llano Gicole of Philadelphia was struck while crossing the Interstate 40 service road near Hope Road around 6:38 p.m. Authorities said a Toyota Tacoma driven by an Amarillo resident hit Gicole. He was transported to Northwest Texas Healthcare System, where he later died. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
