27-year-old Alexander Gendron Arrested After Carlsbad, CA Accident

Bicyclist Tragically Killed in Fatal Crash

A tragic accident occurred on September 13 in Carlsbad, California, when a bicyclist was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on Carlsbad Boulevard around 4:34 a.m. Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Alexander Gendron of Escondido. With help from witnesses and license plate reader technology, officers arrested him about a mile from the crash site. Gendron faces multiple charges, including leaving the scene of a deadly collision. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
