27-Year-Old Thomas Benefield Killed In Piedmont, AL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 20th in Piedmont, Alabama. 27-year-old Thomas Wayne Benefield sadly died after being struck by a Ford F-250 driven by 62-year-old Rory Oneal Calhoun. Tragically, Benefield was pronounced dead at the scene. Calhoun was arrested for criminal negligent homicide DUI and other charges are pending against him. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
