27-Year-Old Saul Montanez Arrested in Fort Worth, TX Accident

Driver taken into custody after deadly pedestrian crash

Authorities arrested 27-year-old Saul Montanez in connection with a fatal hit-and-run on September 28 in Fort Worth. Police said two pedestrians were struck around 1 a.m. near the Salvation Army center on East Lancaster Avenue. One victim died at the scene, and another suffered life-threatening injuries. Montanez fled but was later located and charged with collision involving death and serious bodily injury. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
