26-Year-Old Torzell McCloud Charged In Gates, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on February 6th in Gates, New York. 26-year-old Torzell McCloud was charged with driving while intoxicated, vehicular manslaughter in the 2nd degree along with other traffic infractions after a crash left a passenger riding in his vehicle fatally injured. McCloud lost control of his vehicle while driving on Chili Avenue, went off the road, and hit a utility pole followed by a parked car. The collision tragically resulted in the death of a passenger in the vehicle who was pronounced dead on the scene. Additional charges include drinking alcohol in a moving vehicle and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He remains in the Monroe County Jail.
