26-Year-Old Brandon Plattenburg arrested in Houston, TX Accident

Driver arrested after fiery single-vehicle accident on Eastex Freeway

A tragic accident that occured on May 9 in Houston, TX, claimed the life of a passenger in a suspected DUI incident. Authorities say 26-year-old Brandon Lynn Plattenburg was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 on the northbound Eastex Freeway when the truck veered off the road, hit a retaining wall, and caught fire. The passenger died at the scene. Plattenburg has been arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
