25-Year-Old Rayland Elzy Killed In Pixley, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, February 5 at around 3:30 p.m. in Pixley, California. 25-year-old Rayland Elzy was sadly killed when he was run over by a big rig, after falling from his UPS delivery truck on Highway 99. According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of a semi truck pulling double specialized trailer, attempted to avoid hitting the victim, but a trailer collided with the UPS truck. Elzy was thrown from his delivery truck onto the roadway, where one of the trailers then ran him over. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The California Highway Patrol reported that they believe the door of his UPS truck was open at the time of the collision. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
