25-Year-Old James Butts Killed In Midland, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on April 25 in Midland, Texas. 25-year-old James Butts was killed as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Briarwood Avenue in the 7200 block. Officials said the crash occurred when a white Ford Fusion traveling east in the westbound lanes collided with a westbound white Toyota Camry driven by the victims. Butts and the other driver suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. An investigation into the accident remains underway.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
