25-Year-Old Adam Phillips Killed In Houston, TX Accident

Wreck on Highway 290

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, February 10th in Houston, Texas. 25-year-old Adam Phillips tragically was killed in an accident allegedly caused by a man speeding and running a red light on Highway 290 access road. A man driving a Chevy Silverado was speeding and blew past the light before striking the sedan driven by Mr. Phillips, who had the right of way. Mr. Phillips sadly was pronounced deceased at the scene.  Sherry Phillips told ABC13 that her son was a chef at the Daily Gather restaurant in CityCentre and had just left work. The mom said she got a knock on her door at 3 a.m. from police delivering the heartbreaking news. We send her our thoughts and prayers.
