Man fatally struck by Metro train

A tragic accident occurred on September 9 in Leimert Park, California, when 24-year-old Jaion Diaz was struck by a Metro Expo Line train. The crash happened in the 2600 block of Exposition Boulevard between Crenshaw Boulevard and Arlington Avenue at about 12:05 a.m. Sadly, Diaz died at the scene. Authorities are investigating the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
