24-Year-Old Fernando Delgado Killed in Big Sur, CA Accident

Struck by Van Along Highway 1 Near Rocky Creek Bridge

A tragic accident occurred on June 10 in Big Sur, California, when 24-year-old Fernando Arredondo Delgado was fatally struck by a van. The incident happened around 5 a.m. on southbound Highway 1 near Rocky Creek Bridge. Delgado, a resident of Elk Grove, died from his injuries at the scene. The driver remained and cooperated with authorities. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
