24-Year-Old Carla Vasquez Injured In Vacaville, CA Accident

One driver arrested in connection with the wreck

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, January 30 in Vacaville, California. 24-year-old  Carla Vasquez was injured  when the vehicle she was a passenger in crashed on Hay Road and Meridian Road. Officers reported that 24-year-old Jonathan Loreto-Medina was westbound in a Toyota Tundra pickup truck, driving at a high rate of speed. He did not yield for a posted stop sign and hit a dirt mound. The truck went airborne, crashed into an irrigation ditch and overturned onto its passenger side. Vasquez was a passenger in the truck and was transported to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center. The driver was arrested and booked into Solano County Jail on DUI-related charges.
