23-Year-Old Richard Mendoza Arrested in Waco, TX Accident

Two injured after pickup overturns

A tragic accident occurred on December 18 in Waco, Texas, when a pickup truck driving erratically struck another pickup in the 1400 block of South New Road just after 11 p.m. The second truck overturned into a ditch, trapping two occupants inside. Firefighters rescued both victims and transported them to a nearby hospital. Police later located a vehicle of interest and arrested 23-year-old Richard Mendoza for fleeing the scene and DWI. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
