According to a press release from the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2016 Dodge pickup was traveling at an unsafe speed while attempting to negotiate a right-hand curve. The pickup left the roadway to the left, overturned, and struck a tree. The victim tragically died at the scene. No additional information was immediately available from DPS.
