He was tragically declared deceased. Investigators say the driver displayed signs of impairment, including smelling of alcohol, slurring his speech, and having trouble standing or walking. He was arrested and charged with second-degree death by auto and a third-degree count of causing death while driving without a license. A GoFundMe page was created to assist the family.
