Suspected drunk driver arrested after fatal crash

A tragic accident occurred on August 15 in Hesperia, California, when 22-year-old Paige Mitchell of Baldwin Park was killed in a two-vehicle crash. The collision happened around 2:20 a.m. near 7th Avenue and Sequoia Street. Mitchell, driving a Honda Accord, was struck by a Dodge Charger. The 22-year-old Apple Valley driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
