Allen was driving a 2015 Honda Civic along Missouri Route 109 and failed to properly yield at a yellow flashing arrow while attempting a left turn at Route W. She collided with a northbound 2018 Dodge Journey, injuring the driver, a one year old, and 9-year-old child. All three were taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
