22-Year-Old Jamie Weekly Injured In Delaware, IA Accident

Wreck on Highway 20

 Tragic accident that occurred on February 16th in Delaware, Iowa. 22-year-old Jamie Weekley and a one-year-old in his Dodge Caravan, were injured when the minivan was struck by an SUV on Highway 20. Weekley was driving westbound when a van was struck by a GMC Yukon driven by a 22-year-old man. Authorities said that the GMC was eastbound when the SUV drifted onto the shoulder of the road, overcorrected, and went through the median, striking the Dodge. Weekley was transported via air ambulance to University Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) in Iowa City. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
