20-year-old Erica Garza Dies in Austin, TX Accident

Incident on East Seventh Street

A tragic accident occurred on May 11 in Austin, Texas, when 20-year-old Erica Garza was struck by a hit-and-run driver around 5 a.m. on East Seventh Street. Garza died on May 16 after being hospitalized. Two men suffered minor injuries. Police continue searching for the suspect and urge anyone with information to call the Vehicular Homicide Unit at 512-974-8111 or Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477 or visit austincrimestoppers.org.
