A tragic accident occurred on August 8 in Bakersfield, California, when Samuel Ignacio Hernandez Cervantes, 20, was killed in a high-speed single-vehicle crash. Another 20-year-old man also died in the wreck. The Chevrolet Silverado they were in struck a guardrail and crashed near the South Union Avenue overcrossing.
