20-Year-Old Lance Childers Killed In Monroe, GA Accident

Truck accident on Highway 11

Tragic accident that occurred on March 3rd in Monroe, Georgia. 20-year-old Lance Childers lost his life when he was struck by a pickup truck on Highway 11. Childers was close to Friendship Church Road Southwest when he was struck by a southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by a 35-year-old man from Winder. Childers was fatally wounded and declared deceased at the scene. Authorities indicated the driver of the pickup truck was not facing any charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
