20-Year-Old Jonathan Josue Perez Dies in Smith County, TX Accident

Young Kilgore man tragically killed in wrong-way crash

A tragic accident on September 29 in Smith County took the life of 20-year-old Jonathan Josue Perez. According to DPS, a 19-year-old driver entered the wrong side of State Highway 31 East and collided with another vehicle. Perez, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. In the same crash, 21-year-old David Morales Ramos also died. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
