A tragic accident occurred on April 7 in Chambers County, TX, when 19-year-old Jay’Shawn Godfrey was killed in a single-vehicle crash. The incident happened on Farm-to-Market Road 563 when a Chrysler 300 left the roadway and struck a tree. Two other teenage passengers were also killed in the crash. Authorities believe speed was a factor. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims.
