A tragic accident occurred on May 4, in Red Sands desert, El Paso, Texas, when 19-year-old Eduardo Salas was hit by an off-roading SUV. The incident happened shortly before 5 a.m. in the popular off-roading site off Montana Avenue. Investigators say Salas was struck by a white SUV while in the desert area, which has seen several fatal crashes over the years.
