19-Year-Old Braxton Amador Killed in Gray County, TX Accident

Passenger in disabled Camaro struck by big rig during storm

A tragic accident occurred on April 26 in Gray County, Texas, when 19-year-old Braxton Amador of Dumas was killed after the Chevrolet Camaro he was riding in was struck by a semi-truck. The crash happened around 2:16 a.m. on Interstate 40 when the disabled vehicle, involved in a prior crash, was hit by a 2020 Freightliner truck during dark and stormy weather. Amador and the driver, Bryan Ordaz-Reyes, were pronounced dead at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
