19-Year-Old Asa Richard Killed in Flynn, TX Accident

Head-on collision on FM 39 in Leon County

A tragic accident occurred on September 9 in Flynn, Texas, when 19-year-old Asa Richard of Normangee was killed in a head-on crash. The collision happened around 8:20 a.m. on FM 39 near County Road 427, when a southbound Kenworth tractor-trailer swerved into Richard’s lane and struck his Ford F-350. Sadly, Richard died at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
