18-Year-Old Estrella Guerrero Injured In St. Helena, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on February 21st in St. Helena, California.18-year-old Estrella Guerrero was one of four people injured in a single-vehicle crash along Silverado Trail. The California Highway Patrol reported that a 17-year-old Napa boy was rounding a southbound curve in a Honda when he lost control of the car and struck a metal guardrail. Subsequently, the Honda hit a barbed-wire fence and then an embankment before coming to rest. Guerrero suffered major injuries and was transported by an American Medical Response ambulance to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center. The driver was taken to the hospital and detained by CHP officers who believe he was under the influence of alcohol. Due to his age, the driver's identity was not released.
