17-Year-Old Kynslee Mitchell Injured in Lubbock, TX Accident

Motorcycle-style pursuit ends as fleeing vehicle strikes utility pole on 114th Street

A tragic accident occurred on May 2 in Lubbock, Texas, when 17-year-old Kynslee Mitchell was injured after a fleeing vehicle struck a utility pole. The pursuit began near 82nd Street and Frankford Avenue. Mitchell was transported to Covenant Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Three other teenagers were also injured. Driver Xavier Alaniz was arrested. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families.
