17-Year-Old Kiyon Newton Injured In Jacksonville, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, January 17 in Jacksonville, Florida. 17-year-old Kiyon Newton was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 95. Newton was operating a sedan that had stopped in the center lane. At around 9 p.m., an SUV, driven by a 54-year-old Jacksonville woman, crashed into the rear of the car, causing it to catch fire. The boy's young sister was killed in the wreck. Kiyon was taken to a burn center in Gainesville where he remains in the ICU.  A GoFundMe page was set up to help the victims.
