17-Year-Old Israel Ramirez Killed in Grandview, WA Accident

A tragic hit-and-run accident occurred on October 4 in Grandview, Washington, when 17-year-old Israel Ramirez, a Sunnyside School District student, was fatally struck. Around 10 p.m., an unknown vehicle hit Ramirez in the 3000 block of Stover Road, causing fatal blunt-force trauma. The driver fled the scene. The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
