High school student struck while crossing Marbach Road

A tragic accident occurred on September 16 in San Antonio, Texas, when 16-year-old Jose Flores III was struck by a pickup truck while walking in a marked crosswalk on Marbach Road. Flores, a junior at John Jay High School, was transported to a hospital, where he fought for his life for nearly a month before succumbing to his injuries. Police said the driver will not face charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
