16-Year-Old Daronte Jones Killed In Union City, GA Accident

Crash on Stonewall Tell Rd. and S. Fulton Parkway

Tragic accident that occurred on August 8 in Union City, Georgia. 16-year-old Daronte Jones died in a crash involving a Ford F-150 near Stonewall Tell Road and South Fulton Parkway. A black sedan traveling south tried to turn left and collided with a Ford. The F-150 struck the sedan in the rear passenger side, and impact caused the Ford to hit a MARTA bus head on. Jones was pronounced deceased at the scene. Crash investigators believe the driver of the Ford F-150 ignored a traffic light. The driver of the sedan fled the scene.
