Teen dies after three-vehicle collision on State Highway 62

A tragic accident occurred on March 6 in Jasper County, Texas, when 13-year-old Serenity Rivera died after being injured in a three-vehicle crash on State Highway 62 near the Jasper-Newton County line around 8 p.m. Authorities said a Dodge pickup crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Chevrolet pickup. One of the other victims, 35-year-old Meagan Martin, was also killed. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims’ families.
